hiplip travel tip: The Czech Stop

I can’t believe I still meet people who have made the I-35 Texas trip hundreds of times who have never stopped at The Czech Stop. If you ever find yourself on I-35, probably the biggest highway in Texas (it leads to Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, Waco, and beyond), you must take exit 353 and order some delicious kolaches. The bread is sweet and buttery, the fruit filling is so yum…if you are more of a sausage person they have regular and jalepeno. It’s definitely not the place if you are on a diet, but it’s good ole fashion road trippin’ food and should not be missed!

My favorites (pictured below):
-Czech Stop “hots” with cheese
-cherry & apple kolaches

The world isn’t dangerous or unsafe. Quite the opposite. There are some desperate places and people, even in your home town, but these are a minority. In fact, you’re more likely to get into trouble at home than travelling if you follow these common sense tips on your trips.*
