I have never stayed here. I want to, and I hope I will in my lifetime. The other night Doc (read: my husband) and I were watching the movie, Killers, with Katherine Heigl and Ashton Kutcher. It was a cute movie, a little shoot ’em up bang-bang at times, but the opening scene…at this French hotel…made me die! It’s the Hotel du Cap Eden Roc – Antibes, and these pictures do not do it justice. On camera, it looked amazing! It’s set right between Cannes and Nice on the French Riviera. I read that this hotel has been immortalized in writing by F. Scott Fitzgerald, and is the choice of Madonna when she visits the French Riviera. No wonder it caught my eye… I love the hotel, and the hotel itself surely would do. But, I think I’d like to take our entire family and stay in the newly constructed Villa Eleana. Download a PDF brochure here to put under your benefactor’s pillow.

I hope I have a reader who’s stayed here – please tell me so…and if not, well, I hope hiplip is still around when I make my way there so I can share!

Hey girl! I’ve had the pleasure of having a few cocktails there. It is as fabulous as the photos. I’d LOVE to stay there in the future!

Have you heard about Hotel du Cap Ferrat? Just as beautifulbut minus the ridiculous level of ostentation that d’Antibes attracts (from what I have heard) .
