Momofuku: Milk Bar {New York City}

While my husband was watching the Texas vs. Kansas game (Hook ’em Horns!) on Saturday afternoon in the comfort of our hotel room, I ventured out into the cold. We were in my old stomping grounds and I wanted to see what was new. OK, to be honest, I was in search of something sweet. I used Around Me on my iPad and found Momofuku’s Milk Bar.
People, this place deserves it’s own post because it was so good. When I walked in I was overwhelmed by sweets. There was only 1 of me but at least 8 things I wanted. I figured I could just take the extra home with me so here’s what I picked up:

-Compost Cookie: pretzels, potato chips, coffee, oats, butterscotch, and chocolate chips
-Blueberry & Cream Cookie: dried blueberries and milk crumbs
-Cornflake, Marshmellow, and Chocolate Chip Cookie: just as the name says!
-Crack Pie: toasted oat crust, gooey butter filling
-Cinnamon Bun Pie: cheesecake filling, brown butter
-Apple Pie Cake Truffles: cheesecake filling, apple compote, pie crumbs
-Chocolate Malt Cake Truffles: malt fudge, malted milk crumbs, charred marshmellow
-Birthday Cake Truffles: rainbow cake crumble, rainbow sprinkles, vanilla frosting

The truffles were our favorite and that’s the only thing they don’t ship. The Crack Pie was a close second. But really, everything was good. View the complete menu here and order the goods here.
